Angelina Jolie recently demonstrated her unwavering support for her daughter, Zahara Jolie, 

as the 20-year-old took the stage as a keynote speaker at Women in Training Inc.’s annual brunch in Montgomery, Alabama. 

The event, which took place on Saturday, focused on the pressing issue of period poverty, a cause Zahara is deeply passionate about.

Period poverty refers to the lack of access to menstrual products, education, and sanitation facilities for women and girls, as defined by the National Institutes of Health. 

Addressing this issue, Zahara, who has been a member of Spelman College’s Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority since November 2023, 

delivered an insightful speech at the event’s fourth annual Mother-Daughter Brunch at the Renaissance Hotel.

Among the attendees, Angelina was seen attentively listening to her daughter, clearly moved by her words. 

The renowned actress and humanitarian, who adopted Zahara from Ethiopia in 2005 when she was just seven months old, beamed with pride throughout the event. Dressed in a stylish white button-up blouse paired with a matching maxi skirt, Jolie looked effortlessly elegant as she supported her daughter’s advocacy work.

Zahara also made a striking appearance, wearing a chic white dress and pointed-toe heels. The mother-daughter duo posed with guests at the event, highlighting their shared commitment to social causes. The Women in Training Inc. organization expressed their excitement about Zahara’s involvement, with President and CEO Adeyela Bennett stating that they were honored to have her speak on such an important issue. Apart from Zahara, Jolie shares five other children with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt—Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16. A source revealed that Jolie’s kids have been volunteering throughout the state, reaching out to communities in need and collaborating with organizations like World Central Kitchen.

The event in Montgomery came shortly after reports surfaced that Jolie and Pitt had finally settled their prolonged divorce battle, bringing an end to an eight-year legal dispute. Despite the resolution, sources have claimed that Pitt is struggling with his estranged relationship with his children, particularly during significant occasions like birthdays and holidays.
