Jack Whitehall is facing significant backlash following a controversial joke about Sean “Diddy” Combs during the BRIT Awards on Saturday night.

Amid calls for boycotts of the fast-food giant, Whitehall delivered a pointed joke, saying, “In the ‘90s, you’d find your rappers doing drive-bys; this one you can find at the drive-thru.” He added, “Nominated for two BRIT Awards this evening—we didn’t send him a limo tonight, we Deliverooed him here.”

The comedian also took the opportunity to poke fun at British pop band Coldplay, calling them “public school Nickelback,” and teased ITV for having to bring back former presenters due to recent controversies surrounding network figures.
